The Chariot plays at the first event of the indie-comedy short film festival Short Com. The tale of Raymond and his stolen shopmobility, was shown on the big screen along side a selection of other short films and comedy sketches at the Frog & Bucket comedy venue in Manchester, UK.

ODDEST BAR'S SHORT FILM SOUFFLÉ SPECIAL

The Chariot played along side a selection of other short films at the funky Oddest Bar in Chorlton, Manchester. With large parts of the film being based around, and also shot in Chorlton, we decided to have a local screening and invite a few familiar faces. Oddest was packed out, a big thanks to everyone who came along and supported the film.

The Chariot screens at The Rich Mix cinema in Shoreditch as part of Rotoreliefs London. After maybe drinking a bit too much booze, film makers Nick Gillespie and Billy J Jackson did a short Q&A about the film and talked about how/why it got made. The Chariot is a darkly humorous short film which pits a scared, sickly old man against the urban jungle, forcing him to fight for the one thing he truly loves: his Shopmobility

Shot on the streets of Manchester in early 2010, The Chariot is the third collaboration of an award-winning, up-and-coming film-making team from Manchester (UK). The film was made with the support of lottery funds as distributed by Vision+Media and the UK Film Council.

The Chariot is available for festivals and screenings now.
